i'm home! =D
i miss vietnam. the people, the noise, the food, the sound, the smell, the sand, the waters, the wind, the sunshine, the endless smoke and pollution...
i'm going back again.
its a laidback country in 1960's, with roadside food stalls with stools , clogged up sewage, heavily littered roads, narrow and tall buildings etc etc. But hey, i like it . If you havent not know, me, valerie, loves to visit developing countries, like vietnam, not the modern , wifi countries like states..
Be prepared for unhygienic food stalls, if you claim grade C hawker stall in Singapore gross, wait till you see vietnam's. Its BAD(wayyyyy bad) , but the food is THUMBS-UP! they serve real vietnamnes food like pho, soya beancurd ( brown sugar with ginger and coconut milk) ...
Shopping there not much, unless of coz, if you are a coffee lover, black coffee especially! Wide array of coffee brands and beans, all aromatic depending on your taste.
oh well, i'm a old girl, like old vintage unspoiled places/things. Sorry man. Hate to come back to reality of life (singapore) where coffee machines, wash-machines and plasma tv exist.
sweet baby took half day off yesterday to see moi. thnks baby!
next stop, cambodia anyone? backpacking!
