what was supposed to be a jogging session with baby turned out to be a bbq cum dvd marathon with the family and baby.

2 years back, boy and i spent the new year eve at Silso beach countdown party, compliments from his friend's father. yada, i was underaged. It didnt leave a lasting impression, in fact i very much hated it. besides the whole idea of spending the night with baby along the beach =)) I cant remeber how we/i celebrated last yr though, probably coz baby had guard duty to cover.

well, this yr was fantastic. my mum decided on an impromptu bbq session, while baby and i went to rent some chinese dvds; i was glad i listened to my gut feeling hahha. my dad,bro and baby enjoyed the movies a lot, which made me smile. We had prawns, sotong, jap beef, salad etc etc etc.
my fridge is always well stocked! hehehe. I was asking my mum why our family, unlike most, spend so much on food. We have almost everything you ask for , we even have 2 boxes of scallops and tiger prawns. My mum just wanted to buy -.- my parents spend crazy lot on appliances. $300 for a pot, a supposedly clay pot, the size that used to cook one packet of maggi noodles.yes, that small. recently, last sunday, they spend another whooping 257 on a pressure cooker. made in germany, which to me, i will never spend so much. not only my parents, my bro too. He cooks like seafood spag for normal day lunch, with authentic crab meat, fresh scallops -.- i prob only cook this on special days.. Gosh. thank goodness we are very well maintained, in terms of size . oops.
After clearing up, baby and i snuggled up together for count down to 2008. Amazing! whats more blest than having your love to share the magical moment. We laid down to watch Mr Deeds, we were so tired that we fell asleep side by side. =)

a simple night that made me smiling till now.
